Kanye West drops new MV with Travis Scott

Kanye West has dropped a new music video with Travis Scott. The track “Wash Us In The Blood” is a different direction from Kanye’s last album “Jesus Is King” which featured a predominant gospel influence. This comes as Kanye is prepping fans for a new album entitled “God’s Country”. Kanye has teased an album on and off for weeks including an Instagram post that he working with legendary producer Dr. Dre on the project.

Dr. Dre mixed the song “Wash Us In The Blood” giving it a sound that is a must listen. In recent weeks, Kanye has been a busy man. He announced a clothing deal with GAP and an animated series with fellow artist Kid Cudi titled “Kids See Ghosts”. The series is based off of he and Kid Cudi’s 2018 album with the same title, the series is set to be directed by Takashi Murakami.

The video to “Wash Us In The Blood” is surrounded with videos of the recent protest and police brutality that has been a major headline of 2020. There is also clips from his popular Sunday services and his Saint Pablo tour. This song comes off Kanye West doing a 180 in the news and on social media throughout the last few years. He has been surrounded with controversy following his commitment to only releasing Christian-based music. There is no official word on the release of the album. However, if the tracks are anything like “Wash Us In The Blood”, we can expect a completely different vibe than “Jesus is King” which was released in 2019.
